Natural History Museum

Last weekend we went to the American Museum of Natural History...

We saw lots of beautiful animals!

Afterwards we had lunch in the Museum cafe.. nuggets, fries and mac & cheese!

It was so cold outside... we had to rug up!

We stayed indoors most of the weekend as it was sooo cold! We colored in..

...did some painting...

...and a weekend wouldn't be complete without a trip to O Cafe or Murray's Bagels.

We went to Blue Hill Stone Barns this past weekend to visit some animals..

We saw sheep...

And chickens...

And our favorites.. piggies!!!

Afterwards we had brunch at the cafe...

Stella kept a close eye on Dadda to make sure he didn't take more than his share of the croissant...

We can't wait to go back when it's warmer...

Did we mention one of our local cafes has a piggy in the window??

Did we mention we had another fun trip to the gym?? (Our gym lets us enjoy chocolate snacks:)

Since the weather has turned colder, Mum and Dad have been cooking lots of stews and curries. We love Dadda's chicken curry, Mumma's butter chicken and Vietnamese beef curry... all delish!

NYE

Mum and Dad both had time off work between Xmas and NYE. Every morning we'd wake up, have our milk, then walk down to our local coffee joint for coffee's and 'choc' croissants...

Some mornings it was REALLY cold!!!

We will admit that we make a lot of mess when we eat... but in our defense we do clean up after ourselves...

We even help our doorman wash the entry windows...

Since it was so cold the week before New Years we went to our local gym joint over the park..

We like to snack after working out...

We also had a few friends in town from Sydney so our calendar was booked up with brunch dates at The Standard and La Conde Verde..

We are excited to see what 2013 will bring! Xo

Christmas Time!

This was our first Christmas in NYC and it was great!

Mum and Dad have some time off work and we've been hanging around the city, brunching, going to classes.. climbing ladders again...

..and catching up with friends such as Kaija and Aurelia for burgers and watermelon pops!

Unfortunately, Harrison got sick with a cold and then a tummy bug right before Christmas.

Christmas morning he awoke to open presents from Santa and vomit all over Mum (and the sofa, rug, sheets..)

He recovered in Mum & Dad's bed with Stella and dry cereal..

It didn't dampen his spirits too badly.. he still rallied to ride his brand new scooter! 

As did Stella!

The family collection of 'cat eye' diamante glasses were also a hit!

We had a beautiful Christmas lunch at our friend Jack's house! Mum is so upset that she didn't take any photos! We were a little out of sorts and had a big nap during Christmas lunch (like Pop and Pa do each year) and she forgot to take any when we woke up :(

That night we came home and discovered the self timer on the camera. We both worked out how to use it and practiced taking photos of Mum, Dad and the two of us..

We also don't mind a 'self portrait' or two..
