Playdate

We had a lovely play date last week with our bestie Jack and two other friends - Archie and Hugo. Stella was surrounded by men!

The rest of the weekend we brunched, lunched and hung around NYC.

We are 'big Kev' excited for a few reasons this week:

•  Stella's two bottom teeth have cut through
• Harrison's two top teeth have cut through
• Uncle Trent is visiting NYC this weekend
• Uncle Nick proposed to our future 'Aunty Shawn'!

Fall

The weather recently changed here in NYC and it feels like Fall. Mum had to rush out and get us some warm clothes as we had outgrown most things! Nanna JJ also sent us an amazing 'Bonds' care package from Oz!

 We feel so grown up in our Converse 'All Star' shoes..

Off to practice sitting again...

Labor Day Weekend

We just finished a lovely long weekend with Mum & Dad. We had multiple brunch/lunch dates, went shopping, visited the park and soaked up the last weekend of Summer.

At the park we had our first play on the swings...actually swing! Our good friend Prue suggested that Mum & Dad put us in the same swing, back to back... it worked perfectly (although poor Harrison got squashed by Stella!)

We are currently enjoying a wide variety of foods... roasted vegetables with herbs de provence, carrots/sweet potato and cumin, curry lentils, beef casserole and good old fashioned weetbix!

Both of us are 'rolling' most days... Mum & Dad are now working on our sitting...

Earthquakes and Hurricanes!

Last week was crazy!! An earthquake hit New York City on Wednesday and then we had to spend all weekend indoors as hurricane 'Irene' was coming towards Manhattan! Thankfully neither did much damage to the city.

We are still here!

Sorry it's been a while since we last posted. It took us two full weeks to get over our respiratory infections. We are much better now and have moved on from rice cereal to 'real' food!

Stella is loving her apple/pear/cinnamon and sweet potatoe/kale. Harrison is taking a bit longer to warm up to eating...

Philly & Dominican Republic

What a big few weeks we've had! First was a wedding in Philly,

We got all dressed up on the Friday but had nowhere to go!

It was over 100F and there was a heat wave that weekend so apart from a quick stroll of the local shops, and the rehearsal dinner at our hotel, we spent most of the weekend inside our room working on our tummy time.

The following weekend we headed to the Dominican Republic for a holiday with Mum, Dad and some friends. It was a big week of firsts! Stella rolled from her back to her tummy and Harrison got his first two teeth! We loved swimming in the ocean and the pool at our villa. We even experienced our first Hurricane - 'Emily!' We had a great time. Sadly we have returned to NYC with terrible colds. We definitely have post-holiday blues.
