Hola! We just came back from an amazing two weeks in Spain.
First stop… Barcelona!
We loved strolling the streets of El Born…
Enjoying yummy Tapas dinners…
There was a visit (and some gelato) to Sagrada Familia...
Which had the coolest park opposite it..
With the coolest water fountain to drink from!
There were giggles at the local square...
Nightly strolls around the local neighborhood...
For some gelato after dinner...
We visited the beautiful Park Guell
Where we continued our gelato tour of Spain ;)
We played hide and seek in the old markets hall...
And hung out on the steps..
Barcelona has great parks...
Did we mention our hotel had an amazing rooftop pool?
With beautiful views of the city...
We visited churches...
And hung out in alley ways...
Poor Harrison had an accident and grazed his head badly but was a trooper and carried on!
Everyday when we left the hotel we insisted Mum and Dad take a photo of us outside the building next door…
Next stop was Menorca! Our first hotel was a farm that had cows, horses, pigs and chickens!
And a pool!
We walked through a paddock to get to our beach…
One night we visited the old port town of Cituadella for dinner...
Every day we'd drive and explore a new beach…
Fresh pineapple anyone?
Our second hotel was set amongst a vineyard and had the most amazing light at our nightly sunset drinks (special treat… we got to try Limone and Orange Fanta!)
The hotel was beautiful...
And it also had a great pool!
Here is the local church following the festival of Saint Christopher...
The ice cream tour of Barcelona continued in Menorca...
It was an unbelievable two weeks.. Spain rocks!
