first holiday!!

This weekend, Mum & Dad took us to Maryland, Baltimore on our first family holiday!

Dad utilized every inch of trunk space when packing the car..

 Mum and Dad made sure we had lots of toys to keep us entertained during the 4 1/2 hour car ride... however we slept most of the way!

Once there, we settled into the drawing room for high tea..

 Then we took a stroll through the gardens...

After that we went back to our room to relax before dinner...

Mum and Dad thought we would sleep in our stroller during their romantic dinner...nope! We wanted to join them in watching the sun set over a glass of bubbles!!

  

Back in the room we still wouldn't sleep! We were having too much fun!

The next day we put our sun cream on and got ready to hit the pool for our very first swim!

But first...we took a nap and caught a few rays...

Our first swim! The water was a little cold for Stella's liking... Harrison on the other hand was happy to kick his feet in the cool water...

That afternoon we got dressed to go for a stroll before dinner. Stella put on a very special outfit - it was the dress Mum came home from the hospital in when she was a baby!

Lots of talking from 'Mr & Ms Chatterbox'... 

We went to the Crab Claw for dinner. Mum and Dad ate fresh crabs in Old Bay spice straight off the table! Dad had to use a little wooden hammer to open the crabs! 

We were having so much fun we decided that sleep wasn't a priority this trip...

When we woke up on Sunday... it was our first Father's Day!! 

 We love our Daddy!

Daddy loved his Father's Day present.. a limited edition 'Harrison & Stella' finger painting... 

 Sunday was a little overcast.. we still went to the pool to relax and have some lunch...

Monday morning we got dressed and headed home..

Our passports arrived in the mail when we were away... we can't wait for our next holiday... Dominican Republic!

More firsts this week...

First time in Bonds PJ's..

Harrison's nick name has changed from 'Daddy Cool' to 'Daddy Drool'...this called for the introduction of Bibs! Not to be outdone 'Miss Saucy' has taken to blowing raspberries and drooling too..

We also tried out our new toys for the first time - the 'exersaucers'!! Although we are still a little too young (Mum and Dad had to stuff blankets around us to stop us from falling forward) we enjoyed looking and touching the toys!!

We are going on our first family holiday this weekend. Mum & Dad are taking us to Maryland! Look how excited we are!

4 Months

We had our 4 month check up today and the results are in..

Harrison weighed 13lbs 8oz and was 25 3/8" long!

Stella weighed 12lbs 2oz and was 25 1/4" long!

We are also getting better at holding things too.. see how talented we are holding our matching 'bear rattles'..(we are also holding hands!)

This week, Mum took us to apply for our passports. She had to hold us up in front of a white screen and we had to try and keep our heads up and look straight into the camera... both of us did it in one shot... all those photo shoots Mum and Dad made us do must have paid off!
