We're 2!

What a big week we've had!!! A big birthday week!!!

Last weekend it snowed again! It was so deep it scared us a little!

Mum and Dad took us to BLT Burger that night for dinner... we LOVE their 'black and white shakes'! 

During the week we had an early birthday play date at Jack & Toby's with our friends Archie & Hugo. They had cupcakes and candles for us!

On our actual birthday we had cheesecake to celebrate...

Then we opened our presents...

Two of our favorite presents were a toaster (it looks just like the one Mum cooks us toast in every morning!!)

And a kettle to boil water in our kitchen to make tea and coffee like Mum and Dad do too..

...and then we played with the pirate ship Mum & Dad bought for our party! 

Saturday was our party day. We awoke early to have breakfast at The Standard Hotel. Then we took Dad to the 'Party Store' to pick up some balloons whilst Mum went home to cook.

We had such a great time at our party with our good friends Jack, Toby, Aurelia, Kaija and Henry..2 is so much fun!!!

POTTY TRAINING

This past weekend we started Potty Training!

Saturday we stayed indoors most of the day... just chilling...with our pants off... 

We had a few accidents but picked it up fairly quickly! 

Stella was especially very comfortable on the potty...

Sunday it snowed! We went to play on the roof. 

Sunday night we had friends over for a Superbowl party... more naked potty time!

Monday we started wearing pants and still no accidents! Harrison had also got the hang of it by then too. Now we can relax with our milk's and take it easy.

Natural History Museum

Last weekend we went to the American Museum of Natural History...

We saw lots of beautiful animals!

Afterwards we had lunch in the Museum cafe.. nuggets, fries and mac & cheese!

It was so cold outside... we had to rug up!

We stayed indoors most of the weekend as it was sooo cold! We colored in..

...did some painting...

...and a weekend wouldn't be complete without a trip to O Cafe or Murray's Bagels.

YE-HA

We went to Blue Hill Stone Barns this past weekend to visit some animals..

We saw sheep...

And chickens...

And our favorites.. piggies!!!

Afterwards we had brunch at the cafe...

Stella kept a close eye on Dadda to make sure he didn't take more than his share of the croissant...

We can't wait to go back when it's warmer...

Did we mention one of our local cafes has a piggy in the window??

Did we mention we had another fun trip to the gym?? (Our gym lets us enjoy chocolate snacks:)

Since the weather has turned colder, Mum and Dad have been cooking lots of stews and curries. We love Dadda's chicken curry, Mumma's butter chicken and Vietnamese beef curry... all delish!

NYE

Mum and Dad both had time off work between Xmas and NYE. Every morning we'd wake up, have our milk, then walk down to our local coffee joint for coffee's and 'choc' croissants...

Some mornings it was REALLY cold!!!

We will admit that we make a lot of mess when we eat... but in our defense we do clean up after ourselves...

We even help our doorman wash the entry windows...

Since it was so cold the week before New Years we went to our local gym joint over the park..

We like to snack after working out...

We also had a few friends in town from Sydney so our calendar was booked up with brunch dates at The Standard and La Conde Verde..

We are excited to see what 2013 will bring! Xo
